NRM Caucus to meet over move to censure commissioners

by News Editor

The NRM party is set to hold the parliamentary caucus where Lwemiyaga County Member of Parliament Theodore Ssekikubo will be tasked to explain his censure motion against the party commissioners.

According to the party Secretary General Richard Todwong, NRM has asked the government chief whip Hamson Obua to furnish them with the details of the said matter including the evidence to be discussed in caucus.

Much as the matter of service award has been in public for months now, the NRM party is yet to come up with a clear stand on the matter. Lwemiyaaga county legislator Theodore Ssekikubo has since moved to collect signatures to have the commissioners censured.

NRM MPs were recently asked to go slow on the censure motion. Some however insist, it is within their rights to support the censure without waiting for the party.
