The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Party Spokesperson has dismissed the recently held elections in Bunyoro region as sham, saying they were conducted illegally.
The party organized elections at different levels across the country ahead of the delegates conference.
Ibrahim Semujju Nganda made the remarks while addressing party chairpersons and district coordinators from Bunyoro Sub Region at C and G Gardens in Hoima City.
He added the elections were carried out illegally and sponsored by Evil money which the Party President Patrick Oboi Amuriat received from the Government meant to disorganize the party.
Meanwhile the former party president Dr Kiiza Besigye called for laying of effective strategies aimed at toppling the current government stressing that greed for money will continue destabilizing the party if party leaders are not careful.
Besigye says because of money, some members have decided to join the NRM party.
